Saturday, Dec. 26

It was a bittersweet visit with our baby today. There are no visits on Sundays, and Joe is leaving early Monday morning to head back to the states-- a new job awaits. Somehow, our baby seemed to sense something, as she was quite the little chatterbox-- lots of new and fun noises. She and Joe talked back and forth, as he imitated some of her sounds. Hours with our “Lonely Planet” translation book are finally paying off. She also enjoyed many rolls and was intrigued by all the holiday decorations in the music room. Before we could stop her, she pulled one of the paper snowflakes off the ceiling and promptly put it in her mouth. Woops! Joe also got to give her a bottle for the first time-- very special.
