Today we got to introduce our baby to the smell and touch of a freshly cut evergreen tree. We were lucky to capture a moment of her caregiver singing to her and playing with her a bit. Joe was thrilled to rock her to sleep for her nap, while Wendy continued the photoshoot.
Wendy signed more official papers, and it was the last official day of “bonding,” bringing us a step further toward bringing our baby home.
OOH, more papers - thank you so much for sharing this wonderful log - it is like talking to you each day - can't wait to hear more - and to meet her one day soon! Someone is crying upstairs - I had better see what happened. Tracey

ReplyDeleteAm thrilled you finally arrived. Your Mom and Dad birds have strong wings and beautiful voices that will sing soothing songs and teach you about life as you build your nest. And be sure to bring warm clothing as it's pretty cold here too.
